CARD CARE
Professional surface-care treatment for eligible cards, carried out by hand with materials chosen for the card’s stock and finish.

WHAT IT DOESN’T GUARANTEE
Card care does not repair structural damage such as creases, dents or edge wear, and does not guarantee any grade or condition outcome.

Starts from the Card Care price on the Lab Menu. Your final quote depends on the card, its value and its condition, and is agreed before work begins.

RESTORATION
Specialist work on eligible defects, assessed individually before any treatment is proposed. Careful work. Realistic expectations.

WHAT IT DOESN’T GUARANTEE
Not every defect can be treated, and results vary by card. Restoration may affect eligibility with third-party grading companies. No grade improvement is guaranteed.

Trading card & TCG restoration
Other trading card games are assessed individually, as card stocks and finishes vary widely between publishers and print runs.
Sports card restoration
Older sports card stock can be delicate and absorbent, so treatment is only proposed where it is realistic and safe for the card.
Vintage card restoration
Vintage cards carry age, print quirks and history. We focus on careful, conservative work and clear advice on what should be left alone.
Card cleaning in the UK
Send photos first; once a quote is approved, cards are shipped to OakLab, documented on arrival and returned by tracked, insured post.
Collectible card conservation
Not every card needs treatment. Sometimes the best outcome is honest assessment and better storage to keep it as it is.
